What's Your Job?
Hey, kids! Do you help take care of your dog? There are many things you can do to help out with your dog that really don't feel like work. Find your age below and the jobs that could be good for you, and then talk to your parents about how you'd like to help out.
Age 4
1. Pet your dog every day.
2. Brush your dog for a few minutes with your parent's help.
3. Give your dog a treat by dropping it on the floor for him to pick up.
Age 5
1. Pet your dog every day.
2. Brush your dog for a few minutes with your parent's help.
3. Help walk your dog by holding on to the same leash your parent is holding. Some leashes have an extra loop.
4. Give your dog a treat with your parent's help. Put the treat in your open palm and let your dog take it gently.
Age 6
1. Pet your dog every day.
2. Brush your dog with your parent nearby.
3. Help walk your dog by holding on to the same leash your parent is holding. Some leashes have an extra loop.

5. Practice simple tricks with your dog, like 'Shake Hands.

Age 7
