Andrew Perkins has worked with dogs as a trainer and behaviour consultant since 1991. A founding member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers (CAPPDT), he served as the editor of the Association's national newsletter for 11 years, and continues to sit on the Association Board of Directors. He has written about dogs, behaviour and training for Dogs in Canada, Dog Fancy, Pet Product News, Modern Woman Magazine and other publications. Andrew has chaired and been a presenter at several CAPPDT National Conferences, was the series writer for Life Network's hit show Life With Pets, and has appeared as a guest expert on Life with Pets and Canada AM.
